Meet the Gem Faeries!  They first appeared when Earth was very young. Some, indeed, were lucky enough to witness the dinosaurs and the creation of the great oceans.

And still, to this day, the Gem Faeries are guardians of the world's natural wonders - wonders like fresh water, pure air, ancient forests and beautiful animals. It is the Faeries' responsibility to protect these treasures for future generations. However, many humans do not appreciate their lovely planet: some even try to destroy it, through greed or neglect.

The Gem Faeries are working to stop these people, but the Faeries need our help.
Discover how the Royal Gem Faeries, Diamonda, Sapphira, Emeralda and Ruby, struggle to keep the atmosphere clean and the water pure. Read how they battle to protect our great forests from destruction and how they look after our wildlife and our land.

Opa, the Opal Faerie, wants us to learn how to care for animals, while Bella fights to protect the Field of the Wild Flowers. Discover, too, how the jovial King Argent tries to save the Ancient Land 's largest river, while Aquadana attempts to rescue the dolphins.

Echo, the moon sprite, nearly loses the Earth to a marauding comet, until Er, the Earth Mother, intervenes. Echo's friend, Meridian, the sun sprite, organises a Flare Dance for all planetary Faeries.

Then, Tyfon, the terrible hurricane Faerie, unleashes her fury on the world, blaming the human beings for causing such catastrophe. Finally, Golda appears, with a dire warning about pollution and its consequences.
